Ch. 4: Energizer Syndrome. Keeps going....etc.

Josephine and Sebastian continue to age. Sebastian is still hoping for that final promotion to fulfil his LTW. Meanwhile, poor gardening skill have caused the Warren garden to fail. Only a single apple tree and grape vine remain. Sebastian plans to use seeds from this garden to make it grow once more before his time is up.

I have also given the lot a small makeover, but I am not counting it as my major addition required for Generation 2. I have begun work on a family cemetery, purchased a couple trees, and painted the terrain.

Sadie hasn’t had much success in her romantic life. So far she has asked her friend from France Noelle Saint James to visit. Who knows what might happen there? Meanwhile, Josephine and Sebastian aren’t getting any younger, and neither is Sadie. She really needs to find a father to the heiress pretty soon!

Sebastian fulfilled his LTW and was promoted to level 9 of the science career. He is incredibly satisfied, and with his wife at his side, he is starting to embrace the end of his life. Pretty soon they will both retire and Sadie will take over as the chief provider of the house. Rordan will become an adult in 4 days and he will also have to move out!

Sadie met Mortimer Goth at the park today. It would be an intriguing storyline if the Warren and Goth lines became intertwined…unfortunately he had to work before much of a relationship could develop, and so we will just have to see what happens there. 

The next day Mortimer was still remembering the woman who caught his eye at the park. He came up with a crazy scheme to meet her again by asking her to deliver a very nice group dish to him. Wasn’t Sadie surprised to see him again! By the time Sadie was done delivering the group dish of goopy carbonara, she had to pee so badly!

“Um, I’m sorry to bother you, but would you mind terribly If I used your bathroom?”

“Not at all, please come inside!”

Sadie admired the very large estate. Clearly this sim comes from money! Afterwards the couple talked and Sadie discovered he is single! They hit it off right away, but Sadie is having some reserved feelings about this one.

“Miss Warren, its quite late and you must be tired from the long drive over here…could I persuade you to stay the night here?”

“Oh my, well I guess it is a bit late….alright then, I’d be happy to. And by the way, you can just call me Sadie.”

“Very well, Sadie, you can call me Mortimer then.”

“Um…well about that…no offense or anything, but you just don’t seem like a Mortimer at all. How exactly did you come by that name?”

“I’m actually named after my grandfather. I never really cared for the name either, but you know how family traditions are…”

“Don’t you have any nicknames or anything else? I just really don’t think I can call you something so old-fashioned as Mortimer…”

“Well my Nana calls me Moon Pie, school mates used to call me Morty. My middle name is Michael, and my family always call me that to differentiate between me and my father and grandfather.”

“Michael? You know I’ve always liked that name. I’ll call you that then, it seems to suit you better.”

“Alright,” he said with a smile. “You know I’ve actually thought about changing my name many times, maybe some day I will do it.”

“Well Michael, I think I could use some rest. Happen to have a spare room for me?”

“Haha, only 12 of them! Follow me and I’ll take you to the prettiest one, I know you’ll like it.”

Sadie snuck out the next morning because Michael’s sisters were skulking about and being complaintive. She really feels something special about this guy, and because of this she has changed her lifetime wish to Perfect Mind, Perfect Body, where she must master the logic and athletic skills.

Days go by, and Sadie and Michael haven’t been able to have very much privacy together. Sadie has built on her own guest apartment connected to the Legacy House in the hopes that they will have a little love nest.

Rordan had another birthday and is now a gorgeous young adult! He will have to move out shortly! His final trait is family-oriented, and his LTW is to master writing and painting.

Rordan was kicked out, because he has to be! Only the heiress and her family may stay in the house, so bye bye, little brother! We hardly knew ye. (Literally, Sadie and Rordan never did anything together ><)

Sadie has been inviting Michael over, but he doesn’t seem to be very interested in her. Sadie suspects he thinks of her as just a simpleton who’s good for fooling around every once in a while. She can't help feeling connected to him, but her biological clock is ticking. Sadie desides she isn't prepared for the family drama of the Goths, and calls things off with Michael, hoping to find true love in the immediate future!

Speaking of the future, there is not much of one left for Josephine and Sebastian! Both of them are elders now, and spend their days is quiet contemplation of their lives.

Ch 3. The Fascinating Lovelife of Miss Sadie Warren

After a week, it’s a big birthday day! Sadie has become a young adult, and so the second generation rules apply now. However, I don't intend to change the household income until the previous generation dies, in this case Sebastian and Josephine. Sadie’s LTW is to be the girlfriend of 10 different sims.   

Sadie took her first trip to France! I am thinking the next generation’s father might be from here, but we’ll see! First, Sadie needs to find some boyfriends, as she needs 10 total in her life!

So let’s see…a foray into the romantic life of Sadie Warren:

·         First potential boyfriend, Andre Lefebvre.

                “Hi there, um so you own this bistro? It looks really charming. Maybe we could grab a café together some time!”

                “Oh, mais oui! That sounds very nice, mademoiselle.”

                “So Andre….is it ok if I call you Andre? Are you um…single by chance?”

                “Oh no, not at all. My wife runs the business with me. Her name is Aimee, she is right over there! We just moved into a new house with our son.”

Moving on from that, the boys are clearly all hiding. Seems France has a ton of women, but very few men. Found some plump male tourists from China, but Sadie isn’t very interested in them because she's stuck up. Well...she would tell you she has standards. The girls are starting to look better to her all the time! She went to the museum hoping to meet a man, but alas, only one other girl was there. She decided to camp out in front of the museum.

Early in the morning, Sadie thought maybe she might have some luck meeting a fellow tourist back at base camp. She also needed a shower haha Unfortunately, Sadie is having such bad luck she is considering returning home!

She next decided to visit different households, hoping for an attractive single male to answer the door. She’s such a desperate flirt!

Second Potential boyfriend: Gustave Delven

Sadie had her eye on him the minute she saw him eating breakfast at the window of his beautiful home on the Seine. She decided to take a chance and see if he would meet her! Just before she rang the doorbell, an acquaintance called her and asked if Sadie would ask out Gustave for this person. “As if!” She said as she put down the phone. If he’s single, she’s definitely going for him!

Looks like this will be Sadie’s first love! The relationship is moving along well. Sadie and Gustave find each other very attractive. Sadie doesn’t waste time flirting!

Unfortunately Gustave’s mother doesn’t seem to approve of Sadie in her house!

Sadie had her first kiss with Gustave! Lucky guy! She also became his girlfriend, stayed the night, and had her first woohoo with him. She really loved the bed and room décor…

“Gee, Gustave, your mom sure has good taste. Pink is my favorite color…”

“Shut up and kiss me.”

Now she’s really not thinking things will not work between them, Gustave seems to be a bit too controlling for her liking. Sadie can’t wait to meet someone new. She had a quick bite to eat before sneaking out at midnight.

The next morning, Sadie decided to try for one more hook up before going home. She picked a very rich looking house to end her vacation.

·         3^rd Potential Boyfriend: Jean Luc Pivert

Much to Sadie’s surprise, a man named Jean Luc Pivert answers the door. He lives alone in this HUGE estate. Thanks to awesomemod, Jean Luc is now able to look muuuuch younger and better! Sadie is in the mood to make some bad decisions..Unfortunately Jean Luc doesn’t seem receptive to a girl with a boyfriend. Since Sadie is very adamant that she would like a rich, hot, Frenchman in her bed, she promptly heads over to Gustave’s house to break up with him.

That night her trip ends, but Sadie returns to sunset valley with every intention of inviting Jean Luc over.

BACK IN SUNSET VALLEY

Sadie has invited Jean Luc to come over, and he will be arriving this morning. Also, it is Josephine’s birthday and she is now an elder!

Jean Luc arrived and Sadie was very happy to see him! She leaped into his arms in greeting.

Since Sadie recently became observant, she has learned that Jean Luc is absent-minded, insane, and hates art. I would say this guy will certainly not be the father to the heiress here! Sadie finally managed to make Jean Luc her boyfriend, but after a very riotous woohoo, she discovered his insanity is just not a good thing in bed, so she kicked him to the curb. Time to find a new love interest!

Rordan also had a birthday and he is now a teenager! He was actually fairly attractive, but thanks to awesomemod, he is fairly hot if I do say so myself! His new trait is hopeless romantic. 

Next Chapter: Sadie has a new serious love interest, Josephine and Sebastian enjoy the later stages of life, and Rordan grows up!

Ch 2. Births and Birthdays

Sebastian finally got his wish and began the Warren garden today. Hopefully he can improve his gardening skill and get some much-needed promotions!

 

Sadie has had her first birthday and is now a toddler! 

Josephine and Sebastian can hardly believe she’s grown up so fast! Sadie is the spitting image of her mother. She has her mother’s green eyes and her mother’s nose!  She has inherited her father’s dark black hair and his distinct eyebrows. She’s a very adorable toddler! Her current traits are Athletic (to go with the new generation's rules) and Genius (inkeeping with the current generation's Runs In the Family parameter) Her favorites are pop music, spaghetti, and the color pink (not something I ever would have chosen, but that's the randomness of the game for you!)

The rolled attributes for generation 2 (Sadie) are as follows:

• single parent
• 1 child (heir)
• Standard career:  Professional Sports
• Generational goal: 3) Expansionist – Put at least one major expansion onto your house during this generation. Examples of expansions include a new nursery with space for all the toddler toys and an attached outdoor playground, a guest apartment for the previous generation elders to live in, or an artist's retreat with room for painters, sculptors and drafters to practice their art.
• For fun: hands off: cannot use mouse to move things from one inventory to another. Let sims pick up after themselves.

Mommy puts her toddler to bed saying “Goodnight, angel.”

Josephine potty trained Sadie and taught her to talk. Her first word was love!

Unfortunately, Sebastian wasn’t the best father to Sadie. He was always more preoccupied with work and reading. Though Josephine tried her hardest to teach Sadie to walk before becoming a child, the poor heiress ended up having a birthday without a party or a cake, and without growing up well. Sadie has some issues with her father because of this, but her mother is her best friend. Sadie was given the good sense of humor trait. She isn't the cutest child, but maybe she will look nicer when she grows up!

Josephine is showing signs of pregnancy! Hopefully baby number 2 is on the way. I will not interfere in the gender of the baby whatsoever since there is already one female heiress. However, both Josephine and Sebastian are hoping for a girl!

The pregnancy is going along smoothly! Sadie’s schooling is going well, and Sebastian just had a birthday! He is now a fully mature adult!

 

On a Saturday night, Josephine went into labor for baby number 2 aka The Spare! Sebastian wasn't that concerned. They decided to have this baby at home as well, just to solidify the significance of their home.

at 12:20 am, Rordan Archer Fox was born! 

Unfortunately both Josephine’s and Sebastian’s desire for another girl will go unfulfilled, however he is a beautiful healthy baby boy! His traits are artistic and genius, and his favorites are kids music, crepes, and the color gray. Sadie will meet him tomorrow after school!

As a side note, I have seeded a few families in the community with the hopes that the game will produce children for my children to befriend!

Josephine has achieved her LTW to max 10 skills. She also had a birthday and is now a fully mature adult!

Having some time off over the weekend, Josephine went on outing with Sadie. They toured City Hall and went to the park!

Rordan had his first birthday! He isn’t the absolute cutest baby, but who knows! Later in life, that might change. He has inherited his mother’s nose and his father’s hair, though I have changed his hair to be his mother’s because I can! He mysteriously has gray eyes! I feel like Rordan has the opportunity to become a fabulous  romantic. I think he will love painting and fishing and the sea very much. 

Josephine taught Rordan to talk! His first word was fishing pole! A total shock to me, as I had already thought he might enjoy fishing, but clearly this kid is destined to fish!

Sadie’s relationship with her father has improved and they are now best friends, but she is still more comfortable with her mother. Josephine also potty trained Rordan and taught him to walk.

 

Sadie had another birthday, and she is now a teenager!

She isn’t especially pretty, exactly, but she has a...erm... unique look. Hopefully she turns out to look more like her mom as a young adult! The poor thing’s mouth is particularly unattractive >< But hey, we can’t all pick who we look like in life. So unfortunately, it looks like these are the genes the Warren line is stuck with, unless something happens to Sadie…..which might happen if Rordan proves to be better looking XD However, I have determined that sine Sadie’s first word was love and she is never allowed to marry, she is going to be a polyamorous sim! *shock* So…good luck to you, gentlemen sims! I was allowed to choose her new trait, which is flirty!

As a teen, Sadie has inherited the Warren jewelry- pearl earrings, a bracelet, and necklace.

Rordan had another birthday today! 

Looks like we were right to choose Sadie as heiress after all. Rordan is certainly not a looker…but oh well, there are other things he can succeed in at life. Like his artist’s career!

GOD BLESS AWESOMEMOD! I have learned, thanks to the lovely help of excellent people on forums that awesomemod allows you to edit just about everything on a sim in CAS. Since I already had the mod installed, I just gave it a spin! Through this nifty tool, I have been able to edit my heir and spare! THANK THE LORD! Sadie is stunningly beautiful now, I think. Her eyes are just….gorgeous. I pity the men who will fall for this siren!
